Swim With Dolphins - NSW
There are only 15 spots in the world where you can swim with wild dolphins one of life's great experiences. If you've ever wanted to get up close and personal with these majestic marine creatures, take this opportunity to swim with dolphins. They'll approach within touching distance!
Join us for an adventure of a lifetime as you swim with wild dolphins. During the cruise, we will encounter up to three types of Dolphins; the local resident Bottlenose Dolphins which are normally found very close in-shore along the beaches and ocean headlands.
We also encounter Common Dolphins sometimes in pods numbering up to one thousand and Oceanic Bottlenose Dolphins, which are the strongest and fastest dolphins in our oceans. We always conduct the cruises in the morning as this is when the seas are usually calmest and the dolphins at their playful best. During your
dolphin swim, you will be the only person in the water. You will be kept in close contact with the boat by holding onto a rope, whilst the dolphins swim under, beside and around you. This is a truly amazing experience! Each person will take turns in the water swimming with the dolphins! The time that you will get to spend in the water with the dolphins will vary, depending on numbers on the day.
This experience is suitable for everyone, but it does help if you are comfortable being in the ocean and putting your face in the water.
PLEASE NOTE: We are only 1 of 2 operators on the East Coast of Australia who allow people into the water to swim with wild dolphins. Due to the nature of this experience we can not guarantee you will swim with dolphins.
This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.
Venue:
We are located at Forster NSW, around 3.5 hours north of Sydney.
Session Length
Or season runs from early November til the end of June. May to June, cruises are conducted 2-3 times weekly, usually departing at 8.30am. From early November to April cruises are more frequent and depart daily at around 7am. The cruise is usually 2-2.5 hours in duration. Please book well in advance.
Guidelines:
You MUST be at least 15 years of age to swim with the dolphins. If under 15 years of age, please contact us for alternate options.
Numbers:
The price quoted is for one person. Our vessel is licensed to carry 20 passengers. There is only one person at a time allowed in the water with the dolphins.
Spectators:
Non-swimmers can travel on the boat at an additional cost of $45 payable directly to the supplier on the day.
Weather:
This experience is weather and sea dependent. We try to assess conditions, 1-2 days in advance, however, this is not always possible. Please phone the day before your cruise to verify that weather forecasts are favourable. If we cancel, we will endeavour to reschedule your cruise for a later date.

Our skippers David and Ron are both vastly experienced Divemasters and Diving Instructors as well as being world-renowned dolphin and whale experts.

Had a great time and the operators were extremely friendly. It would make the experience a bit more enjoyable if you had some snorkeling experience but it is not essential. The dolphins were amazing!!!
